Druid

26 points: 21 from leveling and 5 extra from Legacy. English client, English explanations. Builds to try in duels, BGs and the open world; not a win-rate ranking or every mathematically possible point allocation.

Three 26-point builds

Allocations checked against tiers, ranks and prerequisites in the beta dataset from Oct 8, 2026. Support and defensive options have specific roles; they aren't equal in duel damage.

Feral with Furor · 0/21/5

First option to compare in duels and the open world: mobility, shapeshifting and physical pressure.

Feral Combat: Ferocity 5/5; Heart of the Wild 3/5; Feral Swiftness 2/2; Brutal Impact 2/2; Thick Hide 3/3; Sharpened Claws 2/2; Savage Fury 2/2; Feral Charge 1/1; Leader of the Pack 1/1.

Restoration: Furor 5/5.

No Shifting Power or Primal Bite in this build; don't copy their macros as if they were baseline abilities.

Cross-check in the Forever calculator
Balance attrition · 26/0/0

Caster option to compare in duels and BGs: DoTs, roots and casting windows.

Balance: Improved Wrath 5/5; Genesis 3/5; Moonglow 3/3; Improved Moonfire 2/2; Nature's Majesty 2/2; Nature's Reach 2/2; Nature's Splendor 1/1; Improved Entangling Roots 2/3; Insect Swarm 1/1; Vengeance 2/5; Nature's Grace 1/1; Eclipse 2/3.

No 31-point Moonkin Form. You still need to switch to heals and forms depending on pressure.

Mobile Restoration · 0/5/21

First healing and mobility option to compare in BGs; also useful for testing resource-based duels.

Feral Combat: Heart of the Wild 5/5.

Restoration: Nature's Focus 5/5; Naturalist 5/5; Natural Shapeshifter 3/3; Reflection 3/3; Gift of Nature 3/5; Swiftmend 1/1; Nature's Swiftness 1/1.

No 31-point Wild Growth. Swiftmend needs a target with the effects required by its tooltip; pressing the button doesn't bypass them.

20 copyable macros

Each macro labels its keys: Shift = your focus, mouseover = the unit under your cursor, Alt = yourself. The focus macro and other shared macros are in the macro guide, along with instructions for creating them.

Rejuvenation

A HoT for yourself or an ally; mana management is still your call.

Mouseover: ally or unitAlt: self

#showtooltip Rejuvenation
/cast [mod:alt,@player][@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Rejuvenation
Regrowth

Combines a cast with a HoT; find a window to get it off.

Mouseover: ally or unitAlt: self

#showtooltip Regrowth
/cast [mod:alt,@player][@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Regrowth
Healing Touch

A heal that commits you to a cast; don't expect the macro to make it instant.

Mouseover: ally or unitAlt: self

#showtooltip Healing Touch
/cast [mod:alt,@player][@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Healing Touch
Remove Curse

In Forever it removes a Curse or Bane, not every debuff.

Mouseover: ally or unitAlt: self

#showtooltip Remove Curse
/cast [mod:alt,@player][@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Remove Curse
Abolish Poison

Poisons only; not bleeds or every kind of magical effect.

Mouseover: ally or unitAlt: self

#showtooltip Abolish Poison
/cast [mod:alt,@player][@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Abolish Poison
Entangling Roots

Requires a valid target and environment according to the client. Doesn't decide when the root breaks or bypass immunities.

Stops your castShift: focusMouseover: enemy

#showtooltip Entangling Roots
/stopcasting
/cast [mod:shift,@focus,harm,nodead][nomod,@mouseover,harm,nodead][nomod,harm,nodead] Entangling Roots
Hibernate

Only valid Beasts or Dragonkin. Doesn't put every player or pet to sleep.

Stops your castShift: focusMouseover: enemy

#showtooltip Hibernate
/stopcasting
/cast [mod:shift,@focus,harm,nodead][nomod,@mouseover,harm,nodead][nomod,harm,nodead] Hibernate
Moonfire

A DoT can break CC; don't apply it to a target you want to keep asleep.

Shift: focusMouseover: enemy

#showtooltip Moonfire
/cast [mod:shift,@focus,harm,nodead][nomod,@mouseover,harm,nodead][nomod,harm,nodead] Moonfire
Wrath

Casting window and damage. Doesn't combine it with a heal or decide which school is best.

Shift: focusMouseover: enemy

#showtooltip Wrath
/cast [mod:shift,@focus,harm,nodead][nomod,@mouseover,harm,nodead][nomod,harm,nodead] Wrath
Insect Swarm

Requires the Balance talent. Not available in every Druid build.

Shift: focusMouseover: enemy

#showtooltip Insect Swarm
/cast [mod:shift,@focus,harm,nodead][nomod,@mouseover,harm,nodead][nomod,harm,nodead] Insect Swarm
Bear Form

Manual shapeshift; choose your defensive form based on pressure. !Bear Form prevents repeated presses from toggling it off.

#showtooltip Bear Form
/cast !Bear Form
Cat Form

Manual shapeshift. Check ! syntax in the beta; don't add cancelform automatically if you only want to stay in form.

#showtooltip Cat Form
/cast !Cat Form
Travel Form

Mobility when the environment and client allow it; doesn't make the form usable everywhere.

#showtooltip Travel Form
/cast !Travel Form
Leave form to heal yourself

Cancels your form and attempts a self-heal. Shapeshifting may need another press; it costs resources and exposes your humanoid form.

#showtooltip Healing Touch
/cancelform
/cast [@player] Healing Touch
Bash

Requires Bear Form and a valid target. Shift first if needed; the macro doesn't do it for you.

#showtooltip Bash
/cast [harm,nodead] Bash
Feral Charge on focus

Requires the Feral talent and a valid form; not available in the proposed Balance or Restoration builds.

Shift: focus

#showtooltip Feral Charge
/cast [mod:shift,@focus,harm,nodead][nomod,harm,nodead] Feral Charge
Prowl

Requires the right form and stealth conditions. Doesn't automatically combine it with an attack.

#showtooltip Prowl
/cast Prowl
Dash

Requires the right form and availability. Not permanent mobility.

#showtooltip Dash
/cast Dash
Swiftmend

Requires the Restoration talent and a valid HoT on the target, as specified by its tooltip.

Mouseover: ally or unitAlt: self

#showtooltip Swiftmend
/cast [mod:alt,@player][@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Swiftmend
Nature's Swiftness

Only available with the Restoration talent. Then choose the heal or Nature spell you want to use with it.

#showtooltip Nature's Swiftness
/cast Nature's Swiftness
Duels against all nine classes

First build to test in each matchup. Identify your opponent's spec, race and gear: class alone isn't enough. Practice several rounds before changing points; the suggestions below are tactical proposals, not measured results.

Against Warrior

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

Their threat is keeping you in melee. Watch Charge/Intercept, Hamstring and shield swaps; an available Berserker Rage can shut down a fear. A brief gap doesn't mean a safe reset.

Feral lets you compare mobility and physical pressure. Shapeshift with a purpose and find room to heal; don't drain your mana with pointless shifts.

Against Paladin

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

Separate their immunity, CC and healing windows. Save an answer for the next heal after they've spent a defensive; don't pour all your offensive resources into an active immunity.

Manage resources around their defensives. Feral can maintain pressure; Balance lets you compare ranged play. Don't add damage to CC you want to preserve.

Against Hunter

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

Range and pet are two separate threats. Watch slows and traps; CC'ing the pet doesn't remove the Hunter's damage. Avoid chasing in a straight line through prepared ground.

Close in when they have fewer escape tools; Feral is the first test. Create a healing window without both Hunter and pet hitting you.

Against Rogue

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

The opener can chain CC; manage your CC break and defensives to survive the dangerous stretch. DoTs make resets harder, but can also break your own CC if applied carelessly.

Feral lets you compare physical defense and recovery after the opener. Don't stay in caster form without space; set up CC to heal.

Against Priest

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

They can dispel and recover health while draining your mana. Choose which heal to interrupt instead of answering every cast; pressure without resources can play into their attrition plan.

Feral pressures their healing window; avoid an attrition fight that favors better mana management. Don't assume a dispellable HoT will stay up.

Against Shaman

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

Identify totems and shocks before committing. Don't hard-cast a long heal into an available Earth Shock without creating space or baiting the interrupt. Prioritize totems that actually interfere with your plan.

Earth Shock threatens long heals. Change distance to open a healing window, and don't rely on buffs Purge can remove.

Against Mage

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

Track Blink, roots and, if their build has them, Ice Block/Cold Snap. Don't commit your entire offense around one root when they can create another gap. Polymorph can give them recovery time.

Shapeshifting can help manage movement, at a mana cost. Don't spend all your gap closers before the next Blink.

Against Warlock

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

Respect Fear, DoTs and demon utility. A Voidwalker, Succubus or Felhunter changes the plan; don't assume level 36 Spell Lock or that every build has Soul Link.

DoTs and Fear still threaten you while moving. Heal with space and watch the demon; mobility doesn't remove DoTs.

Against Druid

First test: Feral with Furor · 0/21/5.

Expect shapeshifting, heals and mobility. Their current form reveals immediate options, not their whole build. Don't chase without resources while they recover; interrupting a heal in caster form can open a window.

Notice when they switch to healing. Feral is the first pressure test; Balance and Restoration let you compare attrition without promising a win.

BGs and open world

In BGs, Restoration and mobility provide support; Feral applies pressure and Balance controls. In the open world, decide when to chase and when to recover. Travel Form keeps its usage restrictions.

In BGs, play objectives and coordinate CC with your team. Before spending a CC break, distinguish CC you must break from CC you can sit. In the open world, check terrain, allies and escape routes. Tournament rules don't automatically apply to these activities.

Official The Forever Open rules (updated often)
Gear and BiS reference

For Feral, compare agility/strength, health and the weapon's actual effects in forms. Balance and Restoration need mana and suitable spell power. Don't use one list for every role.

There's no universal duel BiS list here: it changes with build, opponents and restrictions. The linked guide helps compare level 30 mechanics and gear; its damage focus doesn't automatically determine the best PvP setup.

What macros improve

Form buttons with ! prevent repeated presses from toggling the same form off. Mouseover lets you heal allies while keeping an enemy targeted. Macros don't make an ability from one form usable in every other form.

Feral alternates physical pressure, CC and heals; Balance offers DoTs and range. Shapeshifting costs resources: use it for a specific threat and save mana to survive.

Sources and beta checks

Calculator data generated on Oct 8, 2026. Later hotfixes may change requirements or effects. The 26-point builds and macros up to 255 characters have been checked; these macros haven't been run in the client.

Before competing: test range, normal target, focus, mouseover, modifiers, learned ranks and required talents. Check each ability's current tooltip and confirm restrictions with the organizers.
